Minister of Economic Affairs for the State of Baden-Württemberg, Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, visits Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG

Künzelsau. Minister of Economic Affairs, Labor and Housing for the State of Baden-Württemberg, Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, visited Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG, the parent company of the globally operating Würth Group, on Thursday, 28 September 2017, during a visit to the Hohenlohe district.

Prof. Dr. h. c. mult. Reinhold Würth, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Würth Group’s Family Trusts, welcomed the minister at Alma Würth Hall and presented the company. Apart from Bettina Würth, the Chairwoman of the Advisory Board of the Würth Group, the meeting was also attended by the entire Central Managing Board of the Würth Group. At the Würth sales outlet in Künzelsau, Dr. Hoffmeister-Kraut talked to two trainees and Thomas Klenk, Managing Director and Head of Product Management and Purchasing. They provided the minister of economic affairs with an overview of Würth’s extensive product range. Talking about the industrialization of the skilled trades, Thomas Klenk and his colleagues presented the ORSY Sensor System Rack, whose storage spaces are all equipped with sensors. This enables the rack to independently monitor the stock levels of a business and place replenishment orders as needed.

C. Sylvia Weber, the Executive Vice President for Art and Culture, then gave the visitors a guided tour of the newly opened CARMEN WÜRTH FORUM. The last item on the agenda was a visit to Reinhold Würth Hochschule in Künzelsau, a university of applied sciences.
