Personnel changes within the Central Managing Board of the Würth Group

Summary

Künzelsau. Taking effect on 1 May 2015, the Central Managing Board of the Würth Group will be rearranged. As before, the body consists of four people. Robert Friedmann remains Chairman of the Central Managing Board. Peter Zürn remains the Deputy Chairman and Joachim Kaltmaier will be responsible for the entire area of finance. To strengthen both the Würth Line and the functions of central importance to the Würth Line, Bernd Herrmann was appointed for the fields of IT, e-business, logistics and IT processes.

Herrmann has been working with the Würth Group since 1990. As Executive Vice President he is responsible for the functions IT and logistics in the Würth Group and is at the same time managing director of Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG (AWKG). On health grounds, Uwe Hohlfeld will resign from the Central Managing Board; as managing director he will also in future be responsible for the fields of finance and controlling in the parent company, AWKG.

In the Group's core business, the Würth Line, the sales program for craft and industry comprises more than 100,000 products: from screws, screw accessories and anchors over tools to chemical products and personal protective equipment.

The Allied Companies of the Würth Group, which either operate in business areas related to the core business or in diversified business areas, round off the range by offering products for DIY stores, material for electrical installations, electronic components such as circuit boards as well as financial services. They generate more than 40 percent of the Würth Group's sales volume.
