Würth Group participates in Industiewoche 2017 (Industry Week 2017)

Summary

Künzelsau. The first Industry Week Baden-Württemberg entitled “mitmachen, erleben” (“Be a part of the experience”) will take place from 19 to 25 June 2017. At numerous events and activities spread out over an entire week, interested visitors can find out what has made Baden-Württemberg an industry region of world renown.

Visitors can directly learn all they would like to know about fascinating machines and production processes, new exciting apprenticeships, resource-saving developments in companies and the environment as well as the social commitment of well-known companies located in the federal state. The Würth Group with Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG in Künzelsau, as well as Würth Elektronik eiSos in Waldenburg, Arnold Umformtechnik in Forchtenberg-Ernsbach and Würth Industrie Service in Bad Mergentheim offers a varied program to all participants. They can participate in guided tours of the logistics center, production premises and museums and learn more about career opportunities, internationalization and the social and cultural commitment and management culture of the Würth Group. Every day, participants will have the opportunity to win an entrance ticket to the Cro concert that will take place during the Würth Open Air in Künzelsau on 22 July 2017.

About the Industry Week

Local institutions from the entire federal state are invited to participate with their own activities in this first Industry Week in Baden-Württemberg. The aim is to make the industry and its multifaceted portfolio visible, to strengthen the acceptance for the industry among the population and to publicly present and discuss important industry-relevant topics.

The Industry Week Baden-Württemberg 2017 is organized by Ministerium für Wirtschaft, Arbeit und Wohnungsbau Baden-Württemberg in cooperation with Landesverband der Baden-Württembergischen Industrie (LVI), Baden-Württembergischen Industrie- und Handelskammertag (BWIHK), Landesvereinigung baden-württembergischer Arbeitgeberverbände as well as IG Metall Baden-Württemberg, IG Bergbau-Chemie-Energie and DGB Bezirk Baden-Württemberg.
