Würth Group receives Risk Management Award “Innovative Insurance Programme of the Year“

Summary

Künzelsau/London. On Monday, 6 November 2017, the Excellence in Risk Management Awards were presented for the second time within the framework of the European Risk Management Awards in London. Matthias Beck, Head of the Group Insurance Department/Risk Management of the Würth Group was among the prize winners who received an award in the category “Innovative Insurance Programme of the Year“.

The Würth Group received an award for the introduction of a worldwide credit insurance program that can do both: provide a centrally coordinated system and meet the demand for local services in the different countries. Matthias Beck accepted the award in London on behalf of his team: “I see the award as an appreciation of our efforts to successfully implement risk management processes under consideration of the decentralized structure of the Würth Group.” The award presentation is organized by FERMA (Federation of European Risk Management Associations) and the newspaper Commercial Risk Europe.
