The global stature and scale of the European Qualifiers™ allows Würth to activate well beyond the markets of those 54 countries participating.

Commenting on today’s announcement, Dieter Münch, Member of the Company Management of the Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG, said: “Sponsorship of the European Qualifiers™ provides us with a fantastic platform to reach all our markets in Europe and raise further the international profile of the Würth brand and its values, while giving us another opportunity to create unique experiences for fans of both football and Würth. We underscore once more our strategy with perimeter advertising at qualification matches started with the UEFA Qualifying matches for UEFA EURO 2008™, helping to achieve increased sales and increased media exposure for the Würth brand. It more than justified our investment and convinced us that we should continue this way.

So it is a logical consequence to become Partner of the European Qualifiers 2018™ made possible by the centralization of rights by UEFA.

We believe in Football as one of the most attractive sports globally. The European Qualifiers™ with now 54 participating national teams gives us the opportunity to cover all our European key-markets.”

Guy-Laurent Epstein, Marketing Director of UEFA Events S.A. added: “We are delighted to welcome Würth as a sponsor of the European Qualifiers™. As an established football brand in Europe and especially Germany, this partnership further underlines the strength of the European Qualifiers™ sponsorship programme, which with Würth on-board is now complete. We look forward to working together in order for them to capitalise on the strengths of the European Qualifiers™.

Würth will successfully complete the sponsorships program in becoming the seventh and final official partner for the European Qualifiers™ joining Carlsberg, Continental, Hisense, Konami, Socar and Turkish Airlines as official partners, and adidas as official ball supplier.
