Changes in the Supervisory Board of the Würth Group

Summary

Although enjoying the best of health, Reinhold Würth has now reached the age of 87 years, and the Würth Group is therefore dealing with the appointment of members to the executive bodies to prepare for the future.

In order to further structure the executive bodies, the Supervisory Board of the Würth Group has decided that Benjamin Würth will act as Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Würth Group as of 1 January 2023. Reinhold Würth will remain Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Würth Group. Furthermore, Bettina Würth will join the Supervisory Board of the Würth Group as a full member as of 1 May 2023.

There will also be changes in the Advisory Board of the Würth Group (comparable to the supervisory board of a listed company) in the foreseeable future. As of 1 January 2025, Bettina Würth will hand over the chair of the Advisory Board to Sebastian Würth and will become honorary chairperson of the Advisory Board alongside Reinhold Würth.

Maria Würth is set to take over the management of the Würth Group's art and culture activities when C. Sylvia Weber, who is highly successful in her role as Executive Vice President, retires. Maria Würth is already a member of the Board of the Würth Foundation.

These decisions ensure the Würth Group's unchanged continuity in terms of objectives, working style and corporate culture in the future after Reinhold Würth's passing.
