Employees of the Würth Group receive a thank-you gift, Group invests EUR 50 million

Summary

According to preliminary calculations, the Würth Group, global market leader in the development, production and sale of assembly and fastening materials, is also very well positioned in the fiscal year 2022. ”Being successful in these uncertain times is anything but a given. We are grateful to our employees for their loyalty to the Würth Group and greatly appreciate their commitment,” says Bettina Würth, Chairwoman of the Advisory Board of the Würth Group. As a thank-you gift for their performance this year, employees receive up to EUR 1,000 depending on the country, region and purchasing power. The Würth Group spends roughly EUR 50 million on this.

”On the one hand, this special payment is a sign of appreciation for an outstanding performance in a fiscal year that was burdened by numerous crisis factors. On the other hand, we are aware that our employees are concerned about the sharp rise in energy and living costs. We want to use this bonus to support our employees not only in Germany, but in all of our more than 400 companies worldwide. The effects of the numerous trouble spots as a result of inflation do not stop at Germany's borders”, explains Robert Friedmann, Chairman of the Central Management Board of the Würth Group.

Prof. Dr. h. c. mult. Reinhold Würth, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Würth Group, had already promised the employees at the employment anniversary celebration of Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG on 11 November that the family business would not abandon them in these difficult times. The German parent company already announced the special payment of EUR 1,000 to its employees last week. Responsibility for the well-being of employees and thanks for dedicated performance is a very strong value in the Group's corporate culture.
