Top athletes of German Ski Association (DSV) kitted out at Adolf Würth Airport

Summary

As one of the two main sponsors of the German Ski Association (DSV), Würth invited the top athletes of all seven DSV disciplines for the official presentation of the new team outfits to Adolf Würth Airport in Schwäbisch Hall: The skiing pros visited Würth in Hohenlohe for the seventh time on 13 and 14 October.

“Equipping the DSV athletes with their new gear is the traditional kick-off for the winter competitions. We are excited about the upcoming winter season and will do our best to be a strong partner for DSV. We hope our support will help them start the new season as successfully as possible. That is why we are happy to make Adolf Würth Airport available or this occasion,” explained Fritz Hollweck, Sports Sponsorship Manager at Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG. Würth has sponsored the German Ski Association since 2002.

“Distributing 25,000 pieces of equipment to all athletes of the seven DSV national teams while producing photos and videos for sponsors and equipment manufacturers requires complex logistics and perfect organization. We are grateful to our premium partner Würth for making all this possible at Adolf Würth Airport in 2021. Now, our teams can start into the Olympic winter with the best possible equipment. We are especially excited about the evening event at Carmen Würth Forum, where we will honor the most successful active athletes of the last winter season together with the entire ski family,” explained Walter Vogel, DSV Marketing Director.

On 13 and 14 October, the DSV athletes as well as their coaches, assistants and technicians receive their equipment for the upcoming winter season at Adolf Würth Airport in Schwäbisch Hall.

“That’s what’s great about winter: When it gets colder outside, the DSV athletes can finally compete again. I am really looking forward to the upcoming season, especially because the ambition, passion and motivation of the athletes is contagious every year. These characteristics are an integral part of our corporate culture and one of the main reasons for our success. So, you could say the DSV athletes are great role models for us,” Norbert Heckmann, Chairman of the Management of Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG, explained.
